Smriti Mandhana was born on July 18, 1996, and being an Indian cricketer, she presently represents the Indian women’s team in limited-overs cricket.
She has represented various teams in domestic and international cricket, including India, Maharashtra, Trailblazers, and several T20 leagues across the globe, both in the Women’s Big Bash League and The Hundred. She is considered one of the finest left-hand batters in women’s cricket, exhibiting elegant stroke play.

She made her international debut in 2013 and has since been serving as one of the backbone members of the Indian batting lineup. She gave India several memorable performances in World Cups and in bilateral series, including the competition-winning 90 against England in the 2017 World Cup semifinal and an outstanding century in the 2016 calendar-year ODI against Australia.
