The 6th season of the Vincy Premier League T10 will begin on April 7 and conclude on April 20. Six teams such as Botanical Gardens Rangers, Dark View Explorers, La Soufriere Hikers, Fort Charlotte, Grenadines Divers, and Salt Pond Breakers will participate in the upcoming sixth season as it has been the tradition since 2020. For the next couple of weeks, two matches will be played on the same day, including the knockouts.
The tournament will be played in a double round-robin format in which teams will play each other twice. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs and fight for the title. On the other hand, the fifth and sixth teams will play an Eliminator to avoid last-placed finish. This format has been followed since season 1 in May 2020. For those who are not aware, the first two seasons were played in the same calendar year, i.e 2020. The last season of the tournament was played in 2023. Even though it is difficult to determine why the tournament was not played last year, one could assume that as St Vincent played host to T20 World Cup 2024 matches, there was no window left for the tournament.
