In May 2025, England will be playing their first ever home match since September-October 2024. They will host Zimbabwe for a one-off test. That test is scheduled to start on May 22 (Thursday) at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. This will be a four-day test match.

West Indies Tour of England 2025 (3 ODIs and 3 T20Is)
After touring West Indies in October-November 2024, England will host the Caribbean team for six white-ball matches. India Tour of England 2025 (5 Tests)
With England not making it to the final of the World Test Championship 2023-25, they will eye to make it to the final of the next WTC cycle 2025-27. For that, the five-match test series against India at home will be very important. That five-match series will begin on June 20 and will end on August 4 with the fifth and final test match. After hosting South Africa in September 2025, England will have three away tours. The first of them will tour New Zealand in October and November 2025 for six white-ball matches. The English calendar is full of white-ball games because of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026 in India. England’s tour of New Zealand will be played in October and November. The schedule has yet to be announced.
England Tour of Ireland 2025 (3 ODIs)
While hosting India for a five-match Test series, England will fly to Ireland. The English player will tour Ireland for a three-match ODI series. Interestingly, this tour will be played along with the five-match test series against India.
