Australian domestic Twenty Twenty format league which is known as the Weber, WBBL for its sponsorship reasons. This league is Australia’s premier domestic Twenty20 cricket competition for women. Established in the 2015-16 season, the WBBL has successfully hosted a total of 9 editions and now is coming back for its tenth edition.
The WBBL follows a double round robin format which leads to the knockout finals- The thrilling and engaging cricket playoffs. The league not only showcases the talents of current and former Australian national team members but also provides a platform for the country’s best young talent and up to three overseas marquee players per team.
This WBBL 25 league features a total of 8 teams that will go head to head in the total of 43 matches including three final matches. Starting on october 27, 2024, with the inaugural match of last year champions Adelaide Strikers and runners ups Brisbane Heat women. This will continue till 1 December 2024 and will have 43 T20 matches in total.

As of the latest edition of 2023-24, the Adelaide strikers are the current champions with the Sydney sixers, Brisbane heat and Sydney Thunder having won two titles already in their names.
