The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, will watch the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match between India and Pakistan, which is to be played in the UAE, from the spectators after having chosen to enjoy the game with the fans, giving away as many as 30 VIP hospitality box seats provided to him for 400,000 AED and sending the funds over to the PCB.
Naqvi is alleged by Pakistani media to have been offered the seats for himself along with family and guests for games in Dubai, but PCB chief has informed the ICC and the UAE cricket board of his desire to watch the match from normal enclosures.

Naqvi mentioned that from the ticket sale proceeds of the first ICC event on Pakistan soil in nearly 30 years, the PCB will lay out a whopping estimated expenditure of around 18 billion rupees to upgrade the stadiums at Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
The most awaited marquee event shall kick off on February 19 in Karachi, as Pakistan hosts New Zealand.
The tournament was supposed to be completely held in Pakistan, but it became a hybrid tournament after the BCCI ruled out sending the Indian national team to its neighbor to play citing security reasons. Hence UAE was brought in as an alternative venue for the matches involving the boys in blue.
The campaign for Team India will begin on the 20th against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Stadium in their opener.
Dubbed to be one of the most electrifying headline encounters, India vs Pakistan will also be hosted by the stadium in Dubai on the 23rd, and is bound to be a huge draw just as this fixture has historically been.
