Miller smashed the fastest century in Champions Trophy history on Wednesday, breaking the previous record set by Virender Sehwag. The 100 runs from the bat of Miller against the New Zealand team came off 67 balls in the semifinals of the Champions Trophy 2025 played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
He completed his hundred by running two runs on the last ball of the match. Sehwag has scored his century against England in a span of 77 balls in a match played in R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, for the Champions Trophy 2002.

Josh Inglis equalled Sehwag’s record scoring a century in 77 balls against England in the 2025 Champions Trophy Group B played at Gaddafi Stadium on February 22.The batting display of Miller against New Zealand saw him slam 10 fours and four sixes, but South Africa failed to win the match, losing it by 50 runs.

The 25-year-old cricketer also picked up one wicket in the match, and for his superb all-round show, he won the Player of the Match award.
