The 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup tenth match will be a fantastic battle. On October 9, at Visakhapatnam’s Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, the Indian ladies cricket team will face the South African women’s team. The match starts at 3:00 PM IST, which means that one of the most expected clashes in the tournament is already set.
So far, India has been a wonderful team. They have been almost completely dominating the competition in their first games. In the match against Sri Lanka, they went from a very tricky 124/6 to setting a DLS-adjusted target of 270 mainly because of the important contributions from the lower batters. After that, they got the rival team out for 211 and thus, they won by 59 runs. Their momentum did not stop even in the highly charged contest against Pakistan, where the Indian team scored 247 runs and the opponent was dismissed for only 159 runs – their 88-run win sealing an emphatic victory and allowed them to stay undefeated.

On the other hand, South Africa’s experience has been a roller-coaster ride. After their very first match, which was a disaster for them, as they could score only 69 runs against England and thus losing by a very wide margin of 10 wickets, they came back very strong against New Zealand.
The bowlers performed their duties very well and only allowed the Kiwis to score 231 runs, and then the batters made sure the victory was very easy – 6 wickets with 9.1 overs left, and thus, they revived their campaign.
