The toss was won by England in the second unofficial Test between India A and England Lions at Northampton, who chose to let the Indians bat first. First Test ended in a draw; hence, the teams made a few changes to their lineup.
For England, Jordan Cox, George Hill, Chris Woakes, Farhan Ahmed, and Josh Tongue have been reinstated. However, all eyes will be on Woakes, as he is also part of the England squad for the upcoming Tests against India.
On the Indian side, KL Rahul returns after his absence from the first unofficial Test. He arrived early, so he could join the team earlier. Alongside Rahul for this Test are Tanush Kotian, Khaleel Ahmed, and Tushar Deshpande; the rest Mukesh Kumar, Harshit Rana, Sarfaraz Khan, and Harsh Dubey are out.
