PSL 2025: Full Schedule Revealed, Tournament Starts on April 11

Today, PCB has announced the schedule for the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League, even as the national squad was eliminated from home ICC Champions Trophy during the group stage without winning a single match. This year’s tournament will enjoy a fierce direct competition with IPL, running from April 11 to May 18, while IPL will run from March 22 to May 25.

Islamabad United, the champions of the last season, will kick off PSL 2025 with an encounter against two-time victors Lahore Qalandars on April 11 at Rawalpindi. 34 matches will be organized in four stadiums – Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, and Multan. Out of these, 11 matches will occur in Rawalpindi, Lahore Gaddafi Stadium is assigned 13 PSL 2025 games, while Karachi and Multan will each host five matches.

This season, PSL 2025 will welcome only three double-headers, and on the rest of the days, only one match will be played. PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer was full of pride as he unveiled the schedule and confirmed that an exhibition match featuring former Pakistani stars will also be played on April 8 in Peshawar.

“We are excited to announce the schedule for this memorable tenth season of the HBL Pakistan Super League. HBL PSL has, over the last decade, grown into an appealing tournament on the world stage, showcasing and providing a forum for the best of Pakistan’s cricketing talent. This year, fans will not only get to see internationally renowned names in cricket but will also witness some of the most melodramatic clashes in 34 high-octane matches across four great cities-Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.

“With our firm intention to develop the associated marketability of HBL PSL, it fills us with immense pleasure to host an exhibition T-20 match in Peshawar before the start of the tournament, a major step in bringing top-tier cricket to Peshawar, a city with generational love for the game. We are active in continuously improving the experience for players, fans, and stakeholders, who have seen some breathtaking contests in the league through the years,” he told the media.
