Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is gearing up for their first tournament game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday, March 22. Now that the Champions Trophy and WPL are over, everyone’s attention is on the IPL. Most players from all 10 teams have arrived, except for those dealing with injuries or late arrivals. RCB is putting on what’s expected to be another star-studded Unbox event before the new season.
RCB already announced their captain and jersey for 2025. This year, they’ve planned some fun activities with the players. At the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, players will practice in front of a big crowd, compete in a six-hitting game, and meet with fans. As for entertainment, Kannada musicians Sanjith Hegde and Aishwarya Rangarajan, plus rapper All Ok, will perform. Malayali artist Humankind will also be there, among others.

The RCB Unbox event for the 2025 IPL season starts at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, March 17, at 3:30 PM IST. You can stream it live on the RCB app and website, but it’s a paid service – you’ll have to pay Rs 99 to watch. RCB will also stream parts of the event on their YouTube channel, but to see the whole thing, you’ll need to go to the RCB website and pay the small fee.
