Jaiswal seems to be on fire for the Rajasthan Royals. He has played eight IPL 2025 matches so far, scoring 307 runs with four fifties. This left-handed Mumbai batter made his full debut for India across all formats in July 2023 and has since proved to become an invaluable cog in the Indian wheel after his international debut against the West Indies.
Earlier in the match, RR captain Riyan Parag won the toss and put the opposition to bat first. With the help of 70 runs from Virat Kohli and another 50 runs off 27 balls from Devdutt Padikkal, RCB gave a target of 205 runs to the Royals before being bowled out at five wickets in 20 overs. During his stay at the pitch, Kohli hit eight fours and two sixes while sharing 26 runs with Phil Salt and later built a partnership of 95 runs with Padikkal. This marks Kohli’s fifth half-century in this season’s IPL and his 111th overall across T20s, only behind David Warner in the number of 50-plus scores in the shortest format.
