The announcement has been made for the schedule for the upcoming season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 2025). This will be the 12th edition of the tournament where Haryana Steelers will put their title on the line. The tournament begins on August 29. Each team will play 18 matches in the league stage.
A total of four venues will be hosting these matches. U Mumba will enter the tournament in search of their second title. U Mumba made it to the finals of the first three seasons, winning the second edition and losing the other two finals. Since then, they have only made it to the playoffs once in the next seven seasons.
They had a pretty good start to the last season but only reached sixth place after a fallout in the second half of the group stage. U Mumba will once again turn on the mat to turn things in their favor. However, U Mumba fans still have hopes for their team, and the auction has certainly added some quality to this team.
U Mumba PKL 2025 Squad
U Mumba were very active during the PKL 2025 auction. They signed 8 players for their team for the coming seasons. Star all-rounder Aanil Mohan was their costliest buy for a price of INR 78 lakh. They also bought raider Sandeep for INR 49 lakh. Sunil Kumar will be leading the side in the upcoming tournament.

It will be other seasons which will see U Mumba among the favorites. But it will be all about keeping the consistency throughout the long season. U Mumba will begin their journey with a game against Gujarat Giants in Vizag on August 30. Their final group game will be against UP Yoddhas on October 23 in Delhi.
