Shivam Dube IPL Debut
Shivam Dube made his IPL on March 23, 2019. He turned up for Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Bengaluru) against his current team, Chennai Super Kings.
Dube had a disappointing start to his career, as he scored just two runs in five balls. Later with the ball, he bowled only four balls while defending RCB’s total of 70 runs.
Overall, Dube’s debut season was underwhelming. He scored 40 runs and didn’t take a wicket in four matches.

Shivam Dube Performance in IPL 2024
Shivam Dube performed quite well in the IPL 2024 season for CSK. The left-hand batter was the highest run-getter in the season.
Dube amassed close to 400 runs (396) in 14 innings at a strike rate of 162.29. He cleared the fence easily, slamming 28 sixes and as many fours. Dube also struck three half-centuries, all of them coming at a strike rate above 150.
Shivam Dube Last IPL Match
Shivam Dube’s last IPL appearance came on May 18, 2024. He featured in an important game against his former team RCB in Bengaluru.
Dube was CSK’s impact substitute in the match. He came to bat in a chase of 219 runs but couldn’t deliver an impactful performance. Dube fell for seven runs off 15 balls without scoring a boundary.

Shivam Dube IPL Auction Price & History
Shivam Dube got his first IPL deal on the back of his promising performances in domestic cricket. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for INR 5 crore in the 2019 auction.
Dube was with RCB for two seasons, but he couldn’t provide the expected performance. So RCB let go of him after 2020.
In the 2021 auction, Rajasthan Royals signed Dube for INR 4.40 crore. After a below-par season, Rajasthan released him ahead of the 2022 auction.
The same year, CSK snapped up Dube for INR 4 crore, and he has been with them since then. Following his incredible outings in the past three seasons, CSK increased his salary to INR 12 crore ahead of IPL 2025.
