Rahul Tripathi made his debut in the IPL on April 11, 2017. He turned up for Rising Pune Supergiant against Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals).
Tripathi had a lowkey debut outing as he got out on ten runs in five balls. But he turned around quickly and smashed a string of six 30-plus scores, including his maiden fifty.
In his ninth match, Tripathi registered his career-best score of 93 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Overall, Tripathi had an excellent start to his IPL career, with 391 runs in 14 matches.

Rahul Tripathi played only two matches in the first half of IPL 2024 for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), returning with poor scores. But then he came into the side towards the fag end of the tournament and hit three consecutive 30-plus scores.

Rahul Tripathi started his IPL career in 2017. Rising Pune Supergiant picked him up in the auction for INR 10 lakhs.
After an impressive season with Pune, Tripathi moved to Rajasthan Royals for INR 3.40 crore. The franchise released him after two mixed seasons.
In 2020, Kolkata Knight Riders bought Tripathi for INR 60 lakhs, and he delivered a good performance in two seasons with them.
