As the T20 cricket action peaks in November-December 2024, the Global Super League will make its debut in Guyana. The new T20 tournament is similar to the now-defunct Champions League T20, which last took place in 2014.
The five best T20 teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, Pakistan, and host Guyana will feature in the inaugural Global Super League. Caribbean Premier League 2024 winners Saint Lucia Kings will play on their turf, while Hampshire Hawks (England), Lahore Qalandars (Pakistan), Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh), and Victoria (Australia) will land in Guyana.
It will be an 11-match event, with teams facing each other once in the single round-robin format. The top sides will meet in the final on November 8. The Guyana National Stadium in Providence will stage all Global Super League 2024 matches.
