Varun Chakravarthy defeated Jofra Archer to record a five-wicket haul during the third T20I of a five-match series at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Tuesday.
The Indian mystery spinner clean bowled the English speedster as the ball knocked the stumps while the batter was confused and did not realize what hit him.
It was the last ball of Varun Chakravarthy’s bowling spell as the 16th over of the England innings unfolded. The Indian slowed the ball down marginally while steering the line near the off-stump while keeping it full. With Archer leaning to block down the line, Varun Chakravarthy bowled the wrong’un; the ball turned in and beat the inside edge. The ball proceeded to hit the stumps after utterly baffling Jofra Archer about what just happened.
FIFER for Varun! 🤩
