After the completion of a five-match T20I series which was concluded with a scoreline of 4-1 in favor of India, the Indian men’s cricket team is scheduled to face England in a three-match ODI series. The first match is in Nagpur at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on February 6, followed by runs in Cuttack and Ahmedabad on February 9 and 12, respectively.
These three matches will provide both India and England with a platform to prepare for the 2025 edition of the ICC Champions Trophy, which is scheduled to be held from February 19 to March 9 in three venues across Pakistan and two in Dubai.
The Men in Blue will be captained by Rohit Sharma, while Jos Buttler will lead England. Joe Root is also part of the England team of 50 overs between the two while only 6 out of the T20I squad are retained in the ODI squad of India.
