Amidst gratitude, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar thanked President Droupadi Murmu for her “warmth and hospitality” during his visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan, saying each moment felt very personal.
Tendulkar with family members met President Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday when she also took them around Amrit Udyan.
“It was an honour to stay at the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s historic guest wing with my family, and that is one memory we will cherish forever.
This visit was special because of the warmth and hospitality extended by Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji. From heartfelt conversations over dinner to walking through the corridors steeped in history, every moment felt deeply personal,” Sachin wrote in a social media post.
“Grateful to be part of Vimarsh Shrinkhala, a beautiful initiative that fosters meaningful conversations and inspires future generations. Some experiences stay with you forever, and this was one of them.”
As part of the Rashtrapati Bhavan initiative titled Rashtrapati Bhavan Vimarsh Shrinkhala, Tendulkar participated in an interaction to motivate students by sharing insightful experiences from his career intertwined with anecdotes from his life as an exciting cricketer.
In his address to budding sportspersons along with students of various schools and colleges, he spoke summarizing the importance of teamwork, others’ care, celebrating another’s success, hard work, mental and physical toughness and many other life-building aspects.
“The grandeur and the legacy of Rashtrapati Bhavan is something which everyone should see.” Concluding his post.
