At University Oval in Dunedin, seasoned New Zealand opener Tim Seifert flew past a scorching 22-ball 45 in the second T20I shot against Pakistan. Seifert hit five sixes and three fours while starting for New Zealand, setting the stage for a game-changing inning.
When the quick bowler began his second over, the New Zealand opener who hit six straight dot balls in the first over developed a special preference for Shaheen Afridi.
Seifert grabbed a few runs on the fourth ball after sending the first two balls soaring for massive sixes.
He finished the over by sending Shaheen out of the park on consecutive deliveries on a good note. Therefore, he hit four sixes which allowed New Zealand to score 26 runs on the third over.

Thanks to important cameos from Afridi, Agha Salman and Shabad Khan, Pakistan had a vigorous batting effort, obtaining 135 runs after the match officials cut the rain-marred game to 15-over per side.

Riding on Seifert and Finn Allen’s rapidity, New Zealand are in a strong position nonetheless. Despite three wickets falling, the hosts are on the brink of another precise victory, 45 runs off 44 balls from 2-0 up in the series.
