The first and inaugural season of the WCL concluded with the Semi-Finals scheduled and played on the 12th July 2024. WCL Cricket 2024 Final commenced just after the conclusion of the Knockout Stage Two Semi-finale matches on 13th July 2024.
The season started with the six teams from different nations and ended with the only top 4 qualifying teams competing in the playoffs. After the playoffs, the teams narrowed form 4 to 2, competing in the ultimate finale of the WCL. The WCL field got narrowed with the top four teams competing in the semi final, which included the Australia, West Indies , Pakistan and India Champions.
Following a set of 15 league matches, these top four teams faced each other in the knockout stage matches which took the ultimate two winners from here to the ultimate final race match played on the 13th July 2024 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
Pakistan Champions (PAKL) Won 1st Semi final: by 20 Runs Against West Indies Champions (WIL)
On Friday, 12 July 2024, cricket fans witnessed a thrilling 1st Semi-Final at the County Ground in Northampton. The match was played between the Pakistan Champions (PAKL) vs West Indies Champions (WIL). In a closely contested cricket match, the Pakistan Champions emerged victorious, securing their spot in the final with a 20-run win. The match began at 05:00 PM, with the Pakistan Champions showcasing their skills and determination to claim the victory. The West Indies Champions fought hard, but the Pakistan Champions’ all-round performance ensured their triumph, marking a significant moment in the tournament and entered in WCL 2024 final

Indian Champions (INDL Won 2nd Semi final: Against Australia Champions (AUSL)
In a high-stakes match, the Indian Champions (INDL) scored 254-6 in 20 overs against the Australian Champions (AUSL), securing a spot in the final. Robin Uthappa scored a blazing 65 off 35 balls, hitting six fours and four sixes. Yuvraj Singh followed with a powerful 59 off 28 balls, including 4 fours and 5 sixes. Yusuf Pathan continued the assault with an unbeaten 51 off 23 balls and Irfan Pathan capped off the innings with a quickfire 50 off 19 balls. Despite the efforts of the Australian bowlers, the Indian Champions’ dominant batting sealed their victory.
