APL 2024 Final: With the craze of T20 cricket growing, the cricket board wants to take advantage of the opportunity, and there have been a number of T20 leagues being played worldwide at national and regional levels. There are plenty of such T20 tournaments organised in India every year. One such regional tournament is run by the Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association, called the Andhra Pradesh Premier League.
The third edition of the APL 2024 got underway on June 30 with a total of six teams. The defending champion Rayalaseema Kings have been knocked out in Qualifier 2, and we will have new champions this edition. Two teams that have qualified for the finals are Uttarandhra Lions and Vizag Warriors. The APL 2024 final is scheduled to kick off on Saturday (July 13) at Vizag.

APL 2024 Final: Road to Final
Vizag Warriors
Vizag Warriors have taken a long route to reach the finals. They finished the table in third place with three wins out of five matches. They faced the Coastal Riders in the eliminator and won by 8 wickets to make it to Qualifier 2. Then, Vizag faced the defending champion Rayalaseema Kings in the qualifier, and they registered a close 7-run win to make it to the finals. Now they have a great chance to win their maiden title.
Uttarandhra Lions
Uttarandhra Lions finished the maiden season in the top four in 2022. Then they finished the last edition again in the top four. But this season, they looked to be on a mission, as they made it to the final after their third consecutive try. The Uttarandhra Lions finished the group stage at the top with four wins. They beat the defending champion Rayalaseema Kings in Qualifier 1 and will now be playing in the final.
