Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag has shared some thoughts on Rishabh Pant. He mentioned that if Pant feels mentally off about his game, he should just pick up the phone and reach out to someone. Sehwag suggested that if Pant sees MS Dhoni as someone he looks up to, he should definitely talk to the former captain for advice.
Recently, Pant only managed to score 18 runs during Lucknow Super Giants‘ 37-run loss to Punjab Kings in Dharamsala. Sehwag advised him to watch old videos of himself when he was playing well in the IPL to boost his confidence. “You remember how you used to play,” he said during an interview on Cricbuzz.

Pant has had a tough season, scoring just 128 runs in 11 games, with an average of 12.8. Lucknow’s campaign is struggling, mainly due to his poor form, and both Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran have also not been contributing enough.
Despite this, Pant remains hopeful about reaching the IPL playoffs, needing to win all three of their last matches to have a shot. Currently, Lucknow has 10 points from 11 games and sits seventh on the table. They face Royal Challengers Bengaluru next on May 9 at home.
