Rahul Vaidya, a singer and reality show star, has garnered fresh media attention following the rumors about cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Avneet Kaur. The issue began when Kohli liked an Avneet post on Instagram, which triggered a brigade of memes and reactions.
Rahul Vaidya added to the drama from behind-the-scenes of another cooking show he is part of, Laughter Chefs 2, by saying Kohli had blocked him on Instagram at one point, shedding some light on the negative developments thereafter. In a recent video at the airport, Rahul opened up about his anger over the trolling his wife Disha Parmar and their families faced, following his comments on Kohli. He said, “The kinds of insults my family and wife received are not okay.”

When he was asked if said Kohli had personally commented to him, Rahul replied that the hate came from the fans: “It was his fans. That’s why I said his fans are bigger jokers than him.” The reporter posited to him that his comments on Kohli might well have stirred such reactions, to which Rahul responded that he was just a cricket fan. He added, “I’m just saying I’ll respond to being blocked.”
An unspecified Photographer asked Rahul if Kohli really had time to let him go, and Rahul replied with a smile, “Then we must have lot of time too,” and walked away. The video went viral and garnered mixed reactions, with some appreciating the reporter’s bravery, and others criticising Rahul for what he said. Now, Kohli and his team have not yet come out officially on the matter.
