Maharaja Trophy is the domestic twenty twenty tournament which is organized annually since 2022. It is one of the major events of south India which is organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association.
This year’s edition will mark the third edition of the tournament, the league started back in the 2022 year and replaced the old Karnataka Premier League.
This league is scheduled to take place from August 15 and will continue till 1 September. Following a total of 30 matches the season will move for its semi finals where the top teams will go against one another in the knockout matches ultimately giving the two finalists for the third edition.
Till now this competition has seen two tournaments where the Hugli tigres remains the current champion winning the 2023 season. Both Gulbarga Mystics and Hubli Tigers have claimed one title each, making them the most successful teams in the tournament’s history. For the third edition a total of 6 teams would be seen participating and competing for the 2024 edition of the series.

A total of 6 teams are participating in the twelfth season of the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024, which is organized and managed by the Karnataka State Cricket Association. The teams are led by the experienced leadership and will feature various domestic players. This will allow the young and hidden talents of the domestic teams to be part of the highlight and can also open new dimensions for them. Maharaja Trophy T20 2024: Semi-Final Match schedule
Following a round robin and knock out format for the tournament the league follows a twenty twenty over short format for the upcoming Tournament. This tournament would have a total of 30 league matches where the teams would go against one another several times and the rankings would be noted on the points table standings. Depending on their points table standings only the top four teams will go against one another in the semi final clashes. The team 1 and the team will go in a head to head in the Semi-Final 1 match and the team 3 and the team 2 will go in the Semi-Final 2 match. Winner of these two Semi-finals will take on each other in the finale of the league.

After the hectic knockout match the league will turn up for the exciting and thrilling Finale of the Maharaja Trophy 2024 scheduled to take place on the 1 Sep 2024. The winner of the Semi Final 1 will go against the winner of the semi final 2 match in the Final of the tournament.
