As India gets ready to face England in the fifth and final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at The Oval, everyone is wondering about the bowling lineup and that’s mainly because Kuldeep Yadav hasn’t played at all this series.
England are leading 2-1 and India are looking to tie it up after a good draw in Manchester, and Kuldeep’s name is being mentioned again.
About including Kuldeep, former India player Parthiv Patel said, India should pick their team like they bat – with confidence. If Bumrah can’t play, India needs another bowler who can attack. Right now, Kuldeep Yadav is that kind of bowler who can take wickets. So, I think India should try to get him in the team.
India have been struggling to find a spot for Kuldeep, their key left-arm wrist spinner, in the playing eleven for the last four Tests. Jasprit, who is one of the best in the world and India’s main fast bowler, has already played three Tests and it’s not confirmed if he’ll play the fourth.
India’s bowlers have struggled to get 20 wickets in this series, especially on flat tracks. Kuldeep, who bowls wrist-spin and can break partnerships, might be what India need in London.
JioHotstar expert Parthiv added, I don’t know if it will happen, but I think Kuldeep Yadav should definitely play.

Kuldeep hasn’t played in any of the four Tests so far which is strange because they needed wickets at crucial times.
As the Men in Blue try to tie the series 2-2 at The Oval, everyone will be watching who the team management picks.
