1. Rahul Dravid: 443 Runs
At the top is The Wall. Rahul Dravid didn’t just score runs at the Oval, he dominated. In three Tests between 2002 and 2011, Dravid scored 443 runs at an average of 110.75. Two centuries, including a massive 217, made him the best at this ground.
His technique and timing were perfect for English conditions. When others struggled, Dravid stayed calm, handled the pressure and wore the bowlers out.
2. Sachin Tendulkar: 272 Runs

KL Rahul has been in great form in this series and his past record at the Oval makes him even more confident. In two matches at the ground he has scored 249 runs, including a fantastic 149 in 2018.With 511 runs already in this series and two centuries, Rahul looks like India’s most consistent batsman right now. He might just move up this list by the end of the fifth Test.
5. Gundappa Viswanath: 241 Runs
Gundappa Viswanath was known for his wristwork and calm temperament, perfect for Test cricket. At the Oval Viswanath played well and found ways to get India out of trouble.
In three Tests between 1971 and 1982 he scored 241 runs at an average of 48.20, with three fifties. Whether it was flicks through midwicket or cuts behind point, Viswanath looked comfortable in English conditions and the Oval brought out his best.
