Fakhar Zaman is out for the rest of the West Indies tour due to a hamstring injury.
He hurt himself during the second T20I in Lauderhill, Florida. He will not play in the third T20I and the whole ODI series in Trinidad.
It happened in the 19th over when Fakhar ran to stop a boundary. He suddenly stopped and seemed to be in pain. Medical staff checked him out and said he had a mild strain in his left hamstring.
Fakhar Zaman will head back to Pakistan for treatment.
ESPN Cricinfo says Fakhar Zaman is out for the rest of the series against the West Indies with a hamstring injury. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said Fakhar would go home on August 4, right after the third T20I.
He will likely start rehab with the PCB medical team at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. No replacement has been named for the ODI team yet.
Fakhar, 35, scored 28 and 20 in the first two T20Is. He looked good, but he did not make those starts into big scores.

This isn’t the first time Fakhar has had this kind of injury. In the Champions Trophy earlier this year, he hurt himself chasing a ball and had to leave the competition the next day. He had been brought into that team as a replacement for Saim Ayub, who was hurt in a similar way weeks before.
Pakistan Wins T20I Series Against West Indies Without Fakhar
Even though Fakhar Zaman was injured, Pakistan beat the West Indies in the 3rd T20I to win the series 2-1. Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub started with a 138-run partnership. Their half-centuries helped Pakistan end with 189/4.
During the chase, the West Indies could not handle the pressure, even with Alick Athanaze’s 60 off 40 and Sherfane Rutherford’s 51 off 35. Windies lost by 13 runs, giving Pakistan the series win in Florida.
