Stretching eastwards into the westernmost Pacific, women’s cricket in Fiji is slowly but surely developing, providing huge opportunities for the team in the 2025 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier. While Fiji is still developing its standing and stature in global results, they nevertheless bring to the qualifiers an interesting mix of both young talent and experienced campaigners. Conditions across Vanuatu (the host country) are projected to be spin-friendly, with hot weather and slow pitches posing a definite challenge to the teams’ adaptability. Let’s meet the Fiji Women squad announced for the 2025 EAP Qualifier in detail:

Key Players Overview
Litia Tikoisuva: An experienced wicketkeeper-batter and capable leader of the relatively young side. One of Fiji’s chief run-scorers, she lends serenity at the top of the order.
Karalaini Vakuruwa: Called the all-rounder because she bowls handy off-spin and plays useful lower-order knock-kneed batting. She adds depth to the side and can snatch away partnerships in almost any crucial over.
Sera Tikotani: As one of Fiji’s main seam bowlers, Tikotani’s role with the new ball and helping with wickets early is essential on tracks that may favor spin rather than pace.
Jiowana Lewiaravu: A promising young batter of good technique; considered the future of Fiji women’s batting and plays an important anchoring role in the middle order.
Akesa Driu: She spins with her left hand, especially useful on the slow pitches in Vanuatu. She and the other two spinners, Adi Losalini Koto and Roela Tinai, balance the side’s spin attack.
Vasiti Draunidalo: An all-rounder who can shift the momentum with the bat and his bowling is useful. Such an all-rounder in this form is very important for Fiji.
