One of the very newest of IPL teams, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) joined the IPL in the year 2022. RPSG Sports Private Limited owns the franchise, and the team plays their home fixtures from BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. With colors of blue and orange on their outfit, LSG were the IPL Eliminators both in the year 2022 and in 2023. After a somewhat middling finish in 2024, therefore, they still have not had the glint of an IPL title in 2026 with Rishabh Pant at the helm.

Head Coach: Justin Langer

An Australian who played and coached for Australia, still serving as the LSG head coach for the 2026 IPL. Langer was a great player who scored 7,696 runs in 105 Test matches with 23 centuries. Later in his life, he established himself as a coach and took Australia to win the ICC T20 World Cup in 2021. He joined LSG in July of 2023. Since then, he has brought an analytical approach and discipline to the franchise.
Assistant Coaches: Lance Klusener

Lance Klusener, one of the most exciting all-rounders ever, is currently the assistant coach of LSG in IPL 2026. This South African player was awarded the Player of the Tournament in the 1999 ICC World Cup. He played 49 Test matches and 171 ODIs-cumulating famous for his punishing stroke play and medium-pace bowling tricks! Since retiring from professional cricket, Klusener has attached his name to coaching, including stints as head coach of Afghanistan and batting coach of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Vijay Dahiya

Vijay Dahiya, a former wicketkeeper-batsman for India, draws upon his Indian domestic cricket experience and strategic thinking for the LSG assistant coach position.
Rajat Bhatia
Rajat Bhatia, another assistant coach with LSG, is a familiar face in Indian domestic cricket and an IPL veteran. His wealth of experience playing in the country and knowledge of T20 cricket goes into strategizing, putting together matchups, and analyzing situations and player potentials. His inputs are valuable for LSG when it comes to game preparation and strategy.”
Mentor – Zaheer Khan

Having been at the forefront of the Indian pace attack for many years, Zaheer Khan is still the mentor for the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026. Having seen it all in India cricket, Zaheer is well acquainted with high pressure situations and assisting fast bowlers in their development. Working as a mentor, he focuses on skill development of young talent, strategic bowling plans, and nurturing leadership in the team.
