West Indies have announced their 15-man squad for the three-match T20I series against Nepal in Sharjah. Akeal Hosein will lead the team, according to the ICC website.
Several big players will be resting for the Caribbean team. Shai Hope, the captain, along with Alzarri Joseph, a pacer, and Johnson Charles, a batter, are some of the stars who will be missing the series. Fabian Allen, Jason Holder and Kyle Mayers will be with the team for the three matches starting September 27.
Five players could make their international debut during the series. These are batter Ackeem Auguste, all-rounder Navin Bidaisee, spinner Zishan Motara, pacer Ramon Simmonds and keeper Amir Jangoo.

Miles Bascombe, Cricket West Indies Director, said the series gives the team a chance to make an impression before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka next year.
He said playing Nepal is another way to expand West Indies cricket. It allows players to interact with an emerging nation while getting experience in different conditions.
He added that this tour shows their vision for a team that can adapt, is tough and is ready for anything. Playing in new places and against new teams also grows the game, gets new fans interested and makes West Indies cricket bigger worldwide.
