Mithun Manhas got announced as President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in its AGM held on Sunday (September 28, 2025). The ex-Delhi cricketer has thus become the third ex-cricketer after Sachin Ganguly and Roger Binny to hold this prestigious post.
Manhas thus succeeded Roger Binny, who was President of BCCI.
What is Mithun Manhas BCCI president’s Salary?
Unlike conventional professions, which have a fixed salary, the BCCI presidency falls under the office-bearer category; hence, Manhas would technically not be entitled to any kind of fixed remuneration but rather matched livelihood issues of enormous daily allowances and perks.

As per reports by the Economic Times, his benefits are set out as follows:
₹89,000 per day while on international tours representing BCCI.
₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per day for attending domestic meetings.
Air travel shall be in business-class or first-class.
Accommodation shall be in five-star hotels during travel.
The Board shall also bear all travel and operational expenses arising out of the said office.
Mithun Manhas:Professional Career
Born on October 12, 1979, in Jammu and Kashmir, Manhas played for Delhi in the domestic circuit and was consistently one of the very few performers over the years in Ranji Trophy. Largely in and out of the Indian team, Manhas was a very important player in the domestic circuit. In the first-class circuit, he has played 157 matches, made 9,714 runs, and has the highest score of 205*.
He has also played the Indian Premier League, for Delhi Daredevils (2008-2010), Pune Warriors India (2011-2013), and Chennai Super Kings (2014).
In total, he has played 55 matches in the IPL, scoring 514 runs. His batting average is 22.34, and he has maintained a strike rate of 109.36 during the competition.
