Zim Afro a T10 Tournament which is the first kind of tournament in Africa. This is a domestic tournament that has teams from South Africa and Zimbabwe. This series is returning for its second season and the 2024 Zim Afro T10 will be the second season of the Zim Afro T10. The tournament will be played from 21 to 29 September 2024 at the Harare Sports Club.
Managed and administered by Zimbabwe Cricket, the series will see a total of 6 teams competing in the T10 format that follows Round-robin tournament and playoffs schedule. Each match would be of 90 minutes and will have 10 overs for an inning.

Zim Afro T10 Format
The Zim Afro T10 2024 follows a double round-robin format with six teams. Each team plays eight matches in the league stage. The top four teams move to the playoffs. In Qualifier 1, the top two teams play, and the winner goes straight to the final. The loser gets another chance in Qualifier 2 against the winner of the Eliminator (played by teams ranked 3rd and 4th). The winners of Qualifiers 1 and 2 then face off in the final.
Zim Afro T10 2024 Teams and Captains
There would be a total of six teams are participating in the Zim Afro T10 . This year is the second season of the teams. The teams that are featuring this year are Durban Wolves, Bulawayo Braves Jaguars, Harare Bolts, Cape Town Samp Army, NYS Lagos and Joburg Bangla Tigers. Although the team’s captains for all teams of this season are yet to be released. So when they are released we will update our list of the Zim Afro T10 Teams and Captains. Below mentioned are the list of Captains and their respective captains for the teams who have announced their leaders for the second season, while some are still thinking on whom to shift the responsibility of the leadership.

All matches at the 2024 Zim Afro T10 are set to be played at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe. The second edition of the tournament will be played between 21st September and 29 September 2024.

The Zim Afro T10 League will be organized at a single venue where a total of 6 teams will compete in almost a month long yet fastest short form cricket matches. All the matches for the Zim Afro T10 is scheduled to take place on the grounds of the Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe.
Zim Afro T10 History
Zim Afro came into the scene after the Abu Dhabi T10 League managed by the Shaji UL Mulk was played in Abu Dhabi. After this Mulk announced another series named Zim Afro which will be played in the T10 Format. This league was played in 2023 with the association of the Zimbabwe Cricket. Now the league will be coming back for the second edition which is set to begin from 21 to 29 September, 2024.

Fans who want to take on the thrill and excitement of the Zim Afro T10 can look up to the live streaming of the tournament on the FAN CODE app and also on their website. The broadcasting of the matches of the Zim Afro T10 League will not be available in India on any TV Channels.
The competition will involve the teams in the page playoff system with round robin format followed by the playoffs. Here each team will play against one another in the league stage matches and then the teams will advance to the knockout stage.
