1. Matt Henry

In the last league game, the New Zealand pacer took a fifer against India. He managed only three wickets in the matches against Pakistan and Bangladesh combined. Henry took two wickets in the semis against South Africa but missed the final against India due to a shoulder injury.
2. Varun Chakravarthy

India’s mystery spinner played his first game of the tournament against New Zealand. He took a fifer, followed by important wickets against Australia and Kiwis in the final. He finished with nine wickets and the iconic white jacket.

3. Mohammed Shami

The now Champions Trophy 2025 made his comeback in international cricket after playing his last in the Cricket World Cup 2023 final. He took nine wickets in the tournament, including a five-wicket haul against Bangladesh.
4. Mitchell Santner

The New Zealand white-ball skipper led from the front with nine wickets and led his team to the final in his first stint as a captain in ICC tournaments. He brought the team back in the final against India with the wickets of Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer.
5. Michael Bracewell

The right-arm off-spinner finished the tournament with eight wickets. He took the big wickets of Virat Kohli and Axar Patel in the final but all went in vain.
6. Azmatullah Omarzai

The Afghanistan all-rounder took a five-wicket haul against England which was one of the highlights of the tournament. He took a wicket each against Australia and South Africa and his team couldn’t qualify for the semis but played good cricket for a debutant.
7. Ben Dwarshius

The Australia left-arm pacer played his first ICC tournament and finished with seven wickets, including a three-for against England that proved vital. That win helped Australia qualify for the semis, only to lose to eventual-champions, India.
8. Kuldeep Yadav

The left-arm leg-spinner took seven wickets in the tournament including two crucial wickets of Ken Williamson and Rachin Ravindra in the final. These wickets helped India make a comeback and win the final against New Zealand.

9. Wiaan Mulder

The South Africa all-rounder took six wickets in three games and his team reached the semis. His team got hammered by the 2000 Champions Trophy winners, New Zealand.

The South Africa pacer took six wickets in three games. However, he didn’t bowl with the new ball in the semis against New Zealand and that proved to be costly as they had to chase above 350 runs against New Zealand in the semis
