Caribbean premier league is a twenty twenty format domestic league of Carribean land. Inaugurated back in the year 2013 this league has successfully hosted a total of 12 seasons so far. Currently sponsored by the Republic Bank Limited, the CPL is administered by the Cricket West Indies.
The CPL 2023, was Eleventh edition of the series which was played from the 16 August to 24 september hosted a total of 34 matches with 6 participating teams from different international talents.The matches were played across five countries in the Caribbean: Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Barbados, and Saint Lucia.

The season kicked off with 6 teams including Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders, The Saint Lucia Kings, Jamaica Tallawahs, The Barbados Royals and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. These teams played a total of 10 matches in the round robin format and then the top four teams got qualified to play the semi-final.
Leading on the top of the table for the season 2023, Guyana Amazon Warriors emerged as the winner of the 11th edition of the CPL whereas the Tribago Knight riders emerged as the runner up for the last season.

The CPL 2023 final was played on the 25th September 2023 at the ground of the Guyana providence stadium. The final match was a match between the most successful team of the league The Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Trinbago Knight Riders. The warriors secured the winning trophy where they defeated the riders with 9 wickets.

In the final match of CPL, despite performing best throughout the season the TKR didn’t manage to get a good score on the scoreboard and got all out at 94 in a span of just 18.1 overs. On the other hand Guyana Amazon Warriors managed to reach this target in just 14 overs. An explosive batting prowess was seen from the bats of Saim Ayub which was partnered with the score of Shai hope. They both took down the score single handedly winning it for the team.
