Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore is one of the three stadiums designated to host the matches of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The venue was renovated especially for the tournament with one of the semi finals to take place as well as the final (if India doesn’t qualify). It also played host to the England vs Australia match which saw more than 700 runs made by both teams combined.
The next match will be played between two-time finalists England and first-time participants Afghanistan. Both teams are looking to keep their semis hopes alive as they have lost Australia and South Africa respectively. The winner of this match will be able to keep their semis hopes alive.
