The ongoing Global T20 Canada 2024 is moving to its final countdown, the league matches have just concluded with the last match played between the Surrey Jaguars and Montreal Tigers on August 6, 2024 and now the top four teams of the season will be moving to the playoffs or knockout stage of the tournament.
Montreal Tigers, Brampton Wolves, Bangla Tigers Mississauga and Toronto Nationals are the top four teams that have made it to the semi finals stage. Having competed in the total of 21 league matches these teams have made it to the next level of the competition. The semi final of the Global T20 Canada 2024 is scheduled to take place from 9th August and will continue for three matches till 10th August 2024. A total of three matches will be played in the semi-final, being the Qualifier 1, Eliminator and Qualifier 2.
Following these three knockouts out of the top four teams of this season only two will advance to the Finale of the season 2024. The finale of the season is scheduled to take place on the grounds CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario on August 11, 2024 at 9:30 PM.
Global T20 Canada 2024 Semi Finals
A total of 6 teams participated in the 2024 edition of the tournament, out of which only four made it to the semi final stage. Following a total of 21 matches the Montreal Tigers, Brampton Wolves, Bangla Tigers Mississauga and Toronto Nationals have qualified to play the Global T20 Canada 2024 semi-finals. Now these teams will go in three head to head battles in the eliminator qualifier 1 and 2 to ultimately qualify for the final of this edition. All the semi finals are scheduled to take place at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario and will be completed in a span of two days. The first would be the Qualifier 1 match, the match 2 would be the eliminator match and the third match would be the Qualifier 2. The winner of the qualifier 1 would directly go in the finale of the tournament and the loser will face the eliminator match winner in the Qualifier 2 match. Winner of this Qualifier 2 match will join the winner of Qualifier 1 in the final of the 2024 Global T20 Canada.

Qualifier 1: Brampton Wolves vs Montreal Tigers
The first match will be played as Qualifier 1 between the Brampton Wolves vs Montreal Tigers. Performing excellently for the whole of season these two are the table toppers of the season with net run rates of the +0.771 and +1.389 respectively.
