4. West Indies 374-6 vs Netherlands, Harare, 2023
In June 2023, during the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023, the West Indies scored 374-6 against the Netherlands at Takashinga Sports Club. The openers, Brandon King and Johnson Charles, both had great outings, scoring 76 and 54 runs, respectively, and they built a solid 101-run partnership. Captain Shai Hope added 47 runs, and Nicholas Pooran top-scored with an explosive 104 off just 65 balls. Keemo Paul also contributed a quick 46* off 25 balls. In May 2019, during an ODI tri-series in Dublin, the West Indies put up a massive score of 381-3. Openers John Campbell and Shai Hope both hit personal bests, scoring 179 and 170 runs. They formed a record 365-run opening partnership before a few quick dismissals pulled the score back. The West Indies went on to win the match by 196 runs, and Campbell was named ‘Player of the Match.’
2. West Indies 385-7 vs Ireland, Dublin, 2025
In May 2025, in the third ODI against Ireland, the West Indies scored 385-7. Keacy Carty led the charge with a stunning 170 runs off 142 balls, supported by captain Shai Hope with 75 runs and Justin Greaves, who scored a quick half-century. 1. West Indies 389 all out vs England, St George’s, 2019
In a surprising twist, the West Indies’ highest ODI total came during a loss. In February 2019, they scored 389 all out against England in just 48 overs while chasing 419 runs. Chris Gayle was in top form, scoring 162 runs off 97 balls. Darren Bravo and Carlos Brathwaite also contributed with quick half-centuries, but the West Indies fell short by 29 runs in the end.
