Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has a big game to play away against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match 59 of the IPL 2025 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. RCB presently has 16 points from 11 matches and looks pretty strong in the top four. They will have already qualified for the playoffs with a seventh away win in a row, thus improving their chances of finishing in the top two. But, for the match, they will surely miss the services of Devlok Padikkal as he has a hamstring injury. Mayank, therefore, will be filling in for him for the rest of the tournament. Josh Hazlewood’s status is doubtful with a shoulder issue, and Phil Salt has been absent for the last two games because of illness.
Desipte the hurdles that come their way, RCB is feeling good about itself; Virat Kohli’s marvelous form is inspiring confidence, while excitement has built up around young opener Jacob Bethell. The bowling has also been pretty solid. In contrast, LSG is in a massive bind: with just 10 points from 11 games and with three back-to-back losses, pressure is mounting for them.
Virat Kohli vs Mayank Yadav

Virat Kohli will have to be key for RCB in trying to get on the board very early against Mayank Yadav, who may be back after injury for LSG. If Mayank gets Kohli dismissed early, that will surely provide a much-needed lift for LSG. It will be a battle of experience against pace that remains one to watch.
Rajat Patidar vs Digvesh Singh Rathi

Another interesting contest is Rajat Patidar versus Digvesh Singh Rathi. Patidar tends to play aggressively against spin bowling, whereas Rathi has performed well for LSG in the middle overs. After his bad last game, Rathi would want to get on track and constrain Patidar.
Yash Dayal vs Aiden Markram

Yash Dayal, with his left-arm pace, will confront Aiden Markram. Markram has not done well against Dayal, scoring just 18 runs off 20 balls before getting out once; hence, Dayal does have an opportunity to make an impact.
Mitchell Marsh vs Josh Hazelwood

A little white-on-white will witness the explosive batting of Mitchell Marsh meeting the accurate bowling of Josh Hazlewood.
David Miller vs Suyash sharma

Finally, strong-hitter David Miller will be up against tricky deliveries from young spinner Suyash Sharma.
