The defending champions, Warriors have begun their season with a loss to the 2022 finalists, Bay Leaf Blasters. However, they won against the Ginger Generals in their second game. On the other hand, the 2021 winners, Strikers, have played three games and won two matches.
This is the fifth edition of the tournament. The tournament is being played between six teams. Every team will play each other twice during the league stage. The top four sides will qualify for the playoffs between May 23 and May 25. The league matches will be played between May 12 and May 22.
