The 10th season of Pakistan Super League is underway with most teams having played three games each. For the first time in the history of the tournament, it is being played during the months of April & May. The first nine seasons of the tournament were played in the months of February & March from 2016 to 2024. Apparently, this year, Pakistan played hosts to the Champions Trophy in February & March this year.

Right after the ICC tournament, the holy month of Ramzan meant that the tournament was slated to start on April 11. The tournament got underway on the same day and all the six teams are currently in action and they are on a mission to add onto their trophy cabinet. PSL is the only tournament in the cricketing world in which all the participating teams have won the tournament at least once.

Sahibzada Farhan, who went unsold in the player draft, was picked right after the National T20 Cup 2025 which concluded right before the PSL. He was the highest run getter in the domestic T20 tournament.
