The Chhattisgarh Women’s T20 Cup 2024 is all set to get underway on September 27 (Wednesday). A total of six teams will be taking part in the second edition of the tournament. Goa Women CC won the first edition of the tournament as they beat Vidarbha Women in the final by 8 wickets.
However, the two finalists of the maiden season, along with Odisha Women CC, aren’t part of the second edition. The Chhattisgarh Women’s T20 Cup 2024 will have some new teams. Six teams to take part in the second edition are Andhra Women, Chhattisgarh Red Women, Chhattisgarh Blue Women, Kerala Women, Tamil Nadu Women and Bengal Women.
A total of 16 matches will be played in the edition, including the final on October 6. All these matches will take place at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Some of the iconic names to take part in here are Dhara Gujjar, Mita Paul, and Keerthana Balakrishnan.

The first match of the Chhattisgarh Women’s T20 Cup 2024 will be played on Friday (September 27). This tournament will be played in a round-robin format where all teams will play one game each against the other five teams. After playing one match each and the completion of the group stage, which will have 15 games, the top two teams will qualify for the final, which will be played on October 6. The first match of the tournament will see a clash between Andhra Women and Kerala Women.
