The 20th edition of the CSA T20 Challenge started on September 27 (Friday). A total of 8 teams are taking part in the ongoing season. The Titans will be defending their title in this tournament. The CSA T20 Challenge 2024 will have 32 matches, including the final. These matches will be played across 8 different venues in South Africa.
It will be played in round-robin and knockout formats. Each team will play one game against the other seven teams. By the end of the group stage, the top four teams will make it to the playoffs. The playoff stage will begin on October 22, while the final is scheduled to take place on October 27. This is one of the most important T20 tournaments for South Africa, which is why all the big South African stars will be participating in this tournament. The likes of David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, Aiden Markram, Rassie van Dussen, Keshav Maharaj, and many more are named to feature in the CSA T20 Challenge 2024.
This tournament will be run by Cricket South Africa (CSA). In India, the live stream will be available on Cricket South Africa’s YouTube channel. This tournament will also see four matches being played in a day. The scheduled start for evening games is 5:30 pm, while the night matches will take place at 9:30 PM IST.
