In T20 cricket, low scores can be a real attention grabber, often showing how batting can go wrong or how good the bowling can be. Major League Cricket (MLC) in the US has seen its share of batting failures. Here are the 5 lowest team scores in MLC history, no team wants to have.
1. Los Angeles Knight Riders – 50 all out vs MI New York
The lowest total in MLC is held by the Los Angeles Knight Riders who scored 50 against MI New York in 2023. MI scored 150 and LA just collapsed while chasing. Unmukt Chand was the only one to hit double digits, rest all others failed. MI’s bowlers all took 2 wickets each and bowled LA out and won by 105 runs.

2. Seattle Orcas – 60 all out vs Texas Super Kings
In a disastrous outing in 2025 season, the Seattle Orcas were bowled out for 60, the second lowest score in MLC history. Texas Super Kings had 153 to defend and made short work of the Orcas’ batting lineup.
3. MI New York – 88 all out vs Washington Freedom
Despite having big stars, MI New York crumbled to 88 against Washington Freedom’s bowling attack in 2024. Chasing 183, they lost wickets in clusters and couldn’t get the middle order going, top 6 batters all scored in single digits. It was a surprise given MI’s strong batting reputation. Washington’s bowlers all played a part, each took 2 wickets and won by 94 runs.

4. Los Angeles Knight Riders – 95 all out vs Washington Freedom
Los Angeles Knight Riders had another low in 2025 MLC. Chasing 209, their top order collapsed, openers Alex Hales and Sunil Narine and no. 3 Unmukt Chand all got ducks. Lower order couldn’t get going and they finished at 95. Jack Edwards and Mitchell Owen took 3 wickets each and Saurabh Netravalkar 2.

5. San Francisco Unicorns – 103 all out vs Washington Freedom
In 2023, San Francisco Unicorns were bowled out for 103 by Washington Freedom. They were to chase 134 but it turned out to be a low scoring thriller. Saurabh Netravalkar was on a roll with the ball, took 6 wickets in 3.1 overs and gave away just 9 runs and got San Francisco out and won by 30 runs.
