The United States Premier League (USPL) 2024 has reached its business end. Six teams competed against each other in 15 league-stage matches between November 22 and 27.
After the end of the league stage, the top four teams – New Jersey Titans, Maryland Mavericks, Carolina Eagles, and New York Cowboys – made it to the playoffs.
The playoffs include two semi-finals, a semi-final eliminator, and the final. The two semi-finals are already done, with Mayland Mavericks winning the first and New York Cowboys winning the second.

USPL 2024: Journey to the Playoffs
New Jersey Titans: The Titans finished the league stage as the toppers. They started the campaign with a loss but won the next four matches, bagging eight points. Their net run rate (NRR) of 0.790 was also good among all teams.
Maryland Mavericks: The Mavericks also received eight points in five matches. But as their NRR was below 0.116, they ended up in the second spot. They won the first three matches before losing the fourth and winning the last game.
Carolina Eagles: There was a three-way battle for the third spot, but Carolina Eagles secured the standing with their superior NRR. They won four points, with an NRR of 0.749.
New York Cowboys: The Cowboys made it to the playoffs by a bare margin. They also had four points, but their NRR of -0.134 was slightly better than California Golden Eagles’ -0.277, giving them the fourth slot.

USPL 2024 Semi-Final 1 and Semi-Final 2
Table-toppers New Jersey Titans took on Maryland Mavericks in the first semi-final. The Titans batted first and scored 175 runs in 20 overs. In reply, the Mavericks chased the target with three wickets to spare.
In the second semi-final, New York Cowboys mustered 148 runs in the first innings. Then they defended the target by wrapping up Carolina Eagles to 101 and made it to the semi-final eliminator.

USPL 2024 Semi-Final Eliminator
The Titans, who lost the first semi-final, will play against the semi-final 2 winner, Carolina Eagles. The match will start at 8:30 PM IST on November 30 at the Broward County Stadium in Florida.
USPL 2024 Final Preview
The final of the USPL 2024 will start at 12:30 AM on December 1 at the same venue. It will be a short turnaround after the semi-final eliminator, with the winner facing against Maryland Mavericks in the final.
