Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi is keen to represent India in all forms of cricket, including Test matches. Raghuvanshi, a right-handed top-order batter from Mumbai, was the highest scorer for India at the 2022 Under-19 World Cup, amassing 278 runs in six innings. He made his IPL debut for the Knight Riders in 2024 and was again purchased for the 2025 season at 30 lakh.
I want to play all formats of the game, including Test cricket, Raghuvanshi said, turning to Wisden.com for those remarks. He also reflected on the challenges of playing in the IPL. In the IPL, they bowl faster, and there is more turn. So, in all respects, it is kind of hard; therefore, I had to really work on improving my game,” he stated.
Raghuvanshi also talked about the necessity of actually playing matches for the learning experience and also for adapting to the formats. Playing as much cricket as you can help you discover more about yourself and learn different formats. It’s a very simple equation: play a lot of cricket, and practice.

He talked about how Mumbai has strongly influenced his spin game and how he bats with the Indian T20 captain, Suryakumar Yadav. Playing on some of those sick turning pitches in Mumbai has really helped me against spin. I try to learn a lot from Suryakumar Yadav and watch him facing spin bowlers. I observe how he plays the field and how he tackles the bowlers,” he added.
KKR, on the other hand, had a very difficult 2025 edition, finishing eighth in the points table with five wins and losses, and two no-results, totaling 12 points. However Raghuvanshi had a fine season where he scored over 300 runs alongside Ajinkya Rahane.
