The Caribbean legends are back and ready to make some noise! The West Indies Champions have announced their squad for the 2025 World Championship of Legends (WCL) and it’s loaded with talent and fun.
With big hitters like Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard, along with seasoned players like Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Sulieman Benn, this team has a mix of flair and skill. The batting line up has heavy hitters like Gayle, Pollard, Dwayne Smith and Lendl Simmons, while the bowling attack has quicks like Fidel Edwards, Shannon Gabriel and Sheldon Cottrell.

The spin options are strong too with Ashley Nurse, Sulieman Benn, Nikita Miller and Dave Mohammad in the squad. Chanderpaul brings experience to the team.
Also joining the party are Chadwick Walton, Williams Perkins and Tharindu Rathnayake, adding more depth to an already strong team. The second edition of the World Championship of Legends starts July 18 and runs until August 2, with matches at four venues in England: Edgbaston (Birmingham), County Ground (Northampton), Grace Road (Leicester) and Headingley (Leeds).

All six teams—India Champions, Pakistan Champions, Australia Champions, South Africa Champions, England Champions and of course the West Indies Champions—will play in a round robin format before the top four move on to the knockout stage. The final will be at Edgbaston on August 2, it’s going to be a big one. Last year the India Champions led by Yuvraj Singh won the trophy but this time the Windies are ready to make their mark.
