The match will be held on Thursday, February 20, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium between the Indian men’s cricket team and Bangladesh in the Group A match of the Champions Trophy 2025. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and opted to bat first. India goes in with two seamers, one spinner, two spin-bowling all-rounders, and one all-rounder that bowls medium pace.
The Indian team management has opted for Harshit Rana instead of left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh, who played the last match in the third ODI of the recently concluded home series against England. Kuldeep Yadav has retained his place in the playing XI as opposed to Varun Chakaravarthy.
As expected in the buildup to the match, it is KL Rahul who will don the wicketkeeper’s gloves for India while Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja are the two spin bowling all-rounders.
