According to reports, the Indian team management won’t bother about workload management for the 4th Test and Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah are likely to play at Old Trafford.
Sky Cricket says both will be available when India plays England on July 23 in Manchester. India is 1-2 down in the 5-Test series after losing to England by 22 runs on July 14 at Lord’s.
Workload management has been talked about throughout the series. Jasprit Bumrah didn’t play the 2nd Test for this reason. Before the series it was clear that Bumrah would play only 3 Tests. So it was uncertain if he would play the 4th Test. But now Sky Sports Cricket reports that Bumrah is available and will play in India’s playing 11 for the 4th Test.
Rishabh Pant was injured in the 3rd Test and Dhruv Jurel kept wickets for India in both innings after that. So there were doubts if Pant would play the 4th Test. But reports say he is fit now and will play at Old Trafford.
