One of the most loved cricketers from England Kevin Pietersen shared his valuable feedback regarding Bazball’s failure in England’s ongoing series against India. Kevin Pietersen took X to drop a reply to a fan’s question who asked about Bazball’s struggle in the ongoing T 20 series.
For the unknown “Bazball” is the term that came in cricket when Former New Zealand skipper Brandon Mccullum was appointed as Head coach of the England cricket team and brought an aggressive approach in their playing style which helped England to get phenomenal results in test cricket.
However the England team is currently struggling in the ongoing 5 match T 20 series against India as the visitors are trailing by 2-0 margin.
According to Kevin Pietersen who has been one of the prolific batters for England and has gone on to represent them in 277 matches across the three formats, feels that Bazball struggles against the quality spin bowling.
“Bazball don’t work against high quality spin consistently! There is an art to playing spin in the subcontinent,” wrote Pietersen on X.
In the very first game of the ongoing T 20 series England batters were seen bambozlled against the spin trio of Varun Chakravarthy Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel. The English team were bundled for just 132 and lost the match by 7 wickets.
In the second T 20 as well England’s struggle against the spin continued as after being asked to bat first the visitors only managed to score 165 which was chased in 19.2 overs by team India.
During his fun interactive session the star batter was also asked about his favourite player replying to which he took Harry Brook name but with a cheeky remark.
Harry Brook is currently in the limelight for his remarks after team India went on to beat England by 7 wickets in the first T 20.
