India Women set a target of 318 and England Women struggled early on due to Kranti Goud’s fast bowling. Within the first three overs Kranti got both the openers out for 4 and 2 runs respectively. Emma Lamb and captain Nat Sciver-Brunt formed a good partnership of 162 runs and gave England hope but Shree Charani broke the partnership by dismissing Lamb at a crucial time.
Kranti then took the wickets of Alice Richards and Charlotte Dean and got her five wicket haul by dismissing Lauren Feller. She finished the match by taking Lauren Bell’s wicket and finished with impressive figures of 6/52. Her performance led India Women to a 13 run win and 2-1 series win.
